Harry gets them captured by saying Voldemort's name. It was a stupid thing to do. Harry, Ron, & Hermione are taken to Malfoy Manor. Bellatrix delays summoning Voldemort when she sees the sword of Gryffindor which is suppose to be safe in her vault. While Hermione is being tortured, to find out how they got the sword, Ron & Harry are thrown in the dungeon where they find Luna and Ollivander. Griphook (a goblin who was captured shortly before Harry, Ron & Hermione) is summoned to tell Bellatrix if the sword is real or a fake, Harry begs him to lie and say it is a fake. Dobby is sent to rescue them. Harry sends Luna, Dean (also captured shortly before Harry, Ron & Hermione), and Ollivander to Bill & Fleurs with Dobby and tells Dobby to come back for himself, Ron & Hermione. Wormtail is sent to find out what the noise in the dungeon was. Harry reminds Wormtail that he saved his life, which results in Wormtail releasing him and the silver hand Voldemort gave Wormtail turning on Wormtail and killing him. Ron and Harry rush upstairs to rescue Hermione. Dobby arrives in time to sprint Griphook, Hermione, Harry and Ron to safety but he is stabbed by Bellatrix's knife in the process and dies shortly after reaching Bill & Fleurs.
Deciding that a Horcrux (the Hufflepuff cup) is in Bellatix's vault at Gringotts, Harry, Ron & Hermione break into Gringotts with Griphooks help (they agree to give him the sword of Gryffindor in return for his help). After retrieving the cup Harry, Ron & Hermione free the dragon who is guarding the vault and fly away on his back. Voldemort now knows that they know about his Horcruxes. Harry uses his connection to Voldemort to learn that there is a Horcrux in Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, & Hermione return to Hogwarts while Voldemort goes to check on his remaining Horcruxes. Harry, Ron & Hermione find an army of students led by Neville (Dumbledore's Army) hiding in the Room of Requirements at Hogwarts. Snape is driven from Hogwarts by Minerva McGonagall and the other teachers loyal to Dumbledore. The Order of the Phoenix is summoned and they along with the army of students prepare to hold Voldemort off while Harry looks for the diadem of Ravenclaw which is a Horcrux. Ron & Hermione visit the Chamber of Secrets where they destroy the Hufflepuff cup with a basilisk fang. Harry remembers the diadem of Ravenclaw is hidden in the Room of Requirements. Crabbe attempts to kill Harry, Ron & Hermione using Fiendfyre (cursed fire) which destroys the Horcrux.
Harry uses his connection to Voldemort to discover he is hiding in the Shrieking Shack. They arrive in time to watch Voldemort feed Snape to Nagini. Voldemort leaves and Snape manages to give Harry his memories before he dies......................
