Sean's team got their uniforms at practice Saturday. For some reason they got two uniforms instead of one. While I think it's wonderful they will have an alternate jersey at district and we won't have to buy the white T-shirts (just in case) I do hope this isn't an attempt to justify providing us with fewer games even though we paid the same amount of money as the other divisions. I would rather have the 8 games in the fall and only one uniform.
There has also been some talk of changing us from a recreational league to an intermediate "All Star" league, forcing us to travel out of state for games. I signed up for a recreational league. With the price of gas I do not want to have to drive out of state, and waste my money on hotel rooms in order for my son to play soccer. IF we had started ON TIME (when East Central & George County did) we would have had plenty of recreational leagues to play without going out of state.
We still don't have any games scheduled..........
