Thirteen Books I Read Recently

  1. Dark Assassin by Anne Perry ~ Featuring William Monk. I love her Monk novels they are set in Victorian England. Monk is now the superintendent of the Thames River Police. When he witness a young woman fall to her death, he sets out to prove it wasn't suicide.

  2. Long Spoon Lane by Anne Perry ~ It's one of the Thomas Pitt novels which I always enjoy. Unfortunately I seem to have missed two of the books in the series so I'll have to read them out of order.

  3. Dragonswan by Sherrilyn Kenyon ~ A very short story, perfect for putting in your purse to take on a trip.

  4. Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon ~Julian is overjoyed to discover that his friend Kyrian of Thrace is alive, but he is dismayed to discover he is a Dark Hunter. Can Amanda help Kyrian reclaim his soul in time to destroy the demi-god vampire Desiderius.

  5. Buckingham Palace Gardens ~ Thomas Pitt is called to Buckingham Palace to discover who killed the prostitute in the Queen's bed. Gracie is asked to work at the Palace as a maid to aid Pitt. Can they discover why the prostitute was killed in time to save the Prince from a dastardly blackmail scheme.

  6. His Excellency George Washington by Joseph J. Ellis

  7. Founding Father Rediscovering George Washington by Richard Brookhiser

  8. George Washington by John R. Alden

  9. George Washington and the American Revolution by Burke Davis

  10. The First American Army by Bruce Chadwick

  11. George Washington His Slaves, and the Creation of America by Henry Wiencek

  12. American Aurora by Richrd N. Rosenfeld

  13. Angels in the Gloom by Anne Perry ~ I missed the first two books in this series which may be why I had so much trouble getting into the book. I kept feeling like I was missing something important. I also found the book very depressing. Course now I have to know who the Peacemaker is so I am off to read the next book in the series.
