Alasandra's Book Club ~Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts
This is my favourite book in the Circle Trilogy. Besides preparing to face Lilith in battle on Samhain, Moira & Cian enjoy a bittersweet romance. It's heartbreaking when Cain tells Moira "if my heart could beat it would beat for you". And every woman can relate to Moira's desperation not to lose her man when she begs Cian to make her a vampire (which he refuses to do). And so sad when Cian leave Geall for good after the battle.
Being a Nora Roberts book we eventually get a happy ending, but you'll have to read the book to find out how a vampire and a human can have a happy ending to their romance.
