Barkitecture

The fifth- through eighth-grade students of the program have spent time after school and on Saturdays building 100 swanky homes for South Mississippi pets. Some of the homes come complete with amenities such as a front porch, deck, storage shed or living room.

This year's pet house project was inspired by the book "
Barkitecture," by Fred Albert, which features custom-made dog houses.
