Choctaw Casino Not Wanted
The Mississippi Band of Choctaws is preparing to meet with Jackson County supervisors and the community about possible plans for a casino.
"I have been in touch with (county board) President Tim Broussard and we are coordinating final details for a meeting in the very near future," Melissa Mullinax, a political adviser to Choctaw Chief Beasley Denson, said Thursday.At Monday's board meeting Broussard will ask the other supervisors to set a date to meet with the Choctaws prior to the board's next regularly scheduled meeting, Sept. 27.Go to the meeting and tell them NO!
