Choctaws looking forward to November vote

I look forward to telling them we don't want a casino in Jackson County. Hopefully once the voters of Jackson County tell the Choctaws their casino isn't wanted, they will go back to Philadelphia and leave us alone. Why do they want a casino here?

The summary also indicates the tribe is looking for future revenue to offset expected increases in health and educational costs, with a 21 percent increase of health care usage projected over the next 10 years.

"The largest tribal school system in the nation continues to grow without a local tax base to keep up with competitive demands on teacher salaries and other costs," the summary reads.

The tribal school by the way is in Philadelphia, MS. They want to come into our county (which is over 4 hours away from their tribal home in Philadelphia), build a casino increasing traffic, drunk driving, crime and various other problems in Jackson County in order to benefit residents of Philadelphia, MS. Don't let the Choctaws fool you, the only people their casino will benefit are the Choctaws in Philadelphia, they don't have to pay taxes like the rest of us and they are looking for more revenue for the Choctaws in Philadelphia.
