Home Again!

After 6 days in Kentucky, we are home again...
and so glad to be here!

We had a blast at the World Equestrian Games,
attending competitions in

Cross Country Eventing

Grand Prix Free-style Dressage

and Stadium Jumping.

We had a great time attending equine demonstrations of all kinds...

We had a chance to connect with old friends and new.

While we were gone, Hubbs held down the fort,
taking care of all the critters.
With the exception of one goat escape (5 goats),
the days went by without incident.

This morning I will get back to the usual chores,
and with camera in hand,
will bring you more Tails From the Farm!

So glad to be home!

PS....I love Kentucky!  It is so much like Pennsylvania.

- Happy Manure Year!!
You might remember me discussing equine parasites over the past few months.  Much to my horror, I found bot eggs on the Bigs' and Little's front legs this past autumn.  Dr. Becky advised me to wait until after a good freeze and then...

- Ahhh, Thursdays
Ok,I have something to confess to you. I don't work on Thursdays...at least no farm work. Thursdays are my day off for the week. One day to rest the hands and feet makesme stronger for the other six days of farm chores. I am lucky to have our friends...
