Sweet, Sweet Honey
I hate to make predictions.
Invariably, they come back to bite me.
(or sting me)
But I think I will go out on a limb and say....
I think we are going to have a splendid
honey harvest this year!
I opened the hives yesterday to see how they look.
They are teeming with activity...
And dripping with honey!
I added supers to each hive and will check them weekly to see
how quickly the supers fill up.
This is the time of year we anxiously await...
when our girls are out and about...
pollinating, gathering nectar and storing it away
as sweet, delicious, golden honey.
PS: no stings...love that bee suit!
