The Ups and Downs of Goats
I have wonderful video footage of these girls playing on their see-saw....up and down and playfully ramming each other, however my video was shot with too high a resolution and I cannot upload it. (Note to self: reset camera and get some IT help to see if it is possible to lower resolution of video....."leave me a message if you know how to do this"). I stood for the longest time watching their antics....so very cute! Here are a few pictures....but believe me, the video is so much better!
It seems like the girls are getting a little thick around the abdomen...so it looks as if pregnancy is for real.
Today, Jack and I went for a walk with the dogs. As we approached the goat fence, our two Dwarf Nigerian goats took off in a run to follow us. They went bounding across their yard towards the fainting goats as that was the direction we were walking. All this activity took O'Malley by surprise and she stiffened and dropped to her side...feet in the air! I will never get used to how these guys "faint" when startled. We just carried on with our walk and looking back over our shoulders, found that O'Malley had quickly recovered. Fainting goat false alarm!
