Sockie~Pooh is going to adopt a Squillion later, the nice volunteers at the Squillion site are really busy right now, so he thought he would be considerate and wait until they are caught up with their adoptions. He wanted us to remind people that older cats and dogs need forever homes too and that they aren't as rambunctious as kittens and puppies.

We have applied to adopt a Virtual Squillion. We are very excited about it. But we want to remind everyone that there are a lot of real cats and dogs that need forever homes. We wish we could give them all a forever home for Christmas.
We read about the Black Friday Pet Adoptions at PetsitUSA. They said
We don't understand why black dogs or cats would be the last to be adopted. Mommy has had several very pretty black cats. We think Whiskers was the handsomest cat. Anyway we asked for a Black Squillion, in case they are the last to be adopted too. Everyone needs a forever home.
We read about the Black Friday Pet Adoptions at PetsitUSA. They said
the Austin Humane Society had an adoption special on black pets. Because black pets are often the last to be adopted (black dog syndrome), the shelter discounted the adoption fee from over $100 to only $35 for black cats and dogs.
