Yakking ~ Mommy got sent to Cooking School

Socks
I have been collecting my favorite toys and playing with them on the sack, for some reason Daddy and Mommy think this is funny.

Mommy had a great time on her trip and now she wants to chatter about it, since she has promised me food I guesses I will oblige. ~Socks

I meet Dorian Wagner (Your Daily Cute) and Cosmo's Mom, Diane Silva (To Dog With Love) in Atlanta. Here we are with Flat Cosmo.

They had a limo waiting when we arrived.

Dorian has been instrumental in getting the word out about the Loews Cats. The cats still need our help visit the Facebook page Save Loews Cats to see if there is anything you can do, especially if you live in the Orlando, FL area.

Alasandra arriving in Ohio
The tennis shoes really need to go, they so look out of place.

 A comfortable room awaited .......................

 Completed with a Goody Bag.
Look I get my very own HARD HAT!!!!!!! There was candy too, but I ate it before I thought about taking a picture.

After I unpacked it was time to head to cooking school. We had this awesome bus to take us on our explorations.

Heather, Beverly VanZant (IAMS) with Flat Tyler (Look for Bev and Flat Tyler at BlogPaws 2012) and Eric.

We arrived at DLM School of Cooking.............................

They had appetizers waiting for us. Then we broke into teams. I was on TEAM MEAT!!!!!!! .......................

Thanks to Jason's grilling skills Team Meat was CHOSEN for  first place by both the manager of DLM and the bus driver. You might say we won by a Land Slider.

We created both Chicken Kabobs and Sliders this was our practice  presentation plate.

Visit Alasandra's Place where I will share the recipes with you. Although I'll warn you ahead of time we created the recipe for our winning meats and I'll be sharing what I remember of the recipe.

The prize was this awesome backpack, it also has wheels and a handle so it's perfect for carting stuff around at the airport.

Stay tuned for more info about Behind the Paw 2012 I have lots of information to share about this wonderful event.

Arty Update: She is still missing. I am going to try to walk in the overgrown field next door, where there are lots of rabbits, this morning. The brush is very thick so I don't know how far I will be able to walk in there. ~Alasandra

- The Good News About Pet Food Recalls
I hate pet food recalls as much as anyone but another way to look at recalls is that the system that is suppose to be keeping our pet food and human food too for that matter safe is working.  I would much rather a company issue a recall for a product...

- No Pet Deaths Linked To Recall Contrary To Media Reports
Three dogs died after staying at The Pet Spot in Norwood where they ate Iams food, contrary to the news reports the food was not part of the recall of Iams and Eukanuba foods. Unfortunately the media rushed to link their deaths to the pet food recall...

- Scylla Sunday
I am helping Mommy water the plants, that coupled with my diet cat food should help me get my girlish figure back. I wants to assure you that Mommy LOVES me no matter how I look, but I needs to lose weight to be healthy and happy. I had gained...
