The Pros and Cons of Homeschooling

At first I couldn't think of any cons but then I realized that while all parents wonder IF they are doing the right thing and IF they have made the right choice homeschoolers may do this more then most as it's all on us if Little Johnny or Susie fails. No handy teachers or public school system to blame. We have found homeschooling to be such a positive experience for our family that I can honestly say we have no regrets that we choose to homeschool, so I see very few cons and tons of pros.

A con that was mentioned on another website was the cost. But I know some homeschoolers who spend very little on their curriculum and utilize free online-resources and the library for the things they need. My family enjoys books so we do tend to spend a good bit on textbooks, but there are ways to homeschool without taking out a loan. And homeschooling is far cheaper then most private schools.
