A Walk On The Wild Side...Week 4

Well, I have to say that moving the trail cameras was a great idea.
There is a whole lot of evening action (200+ photos) in the orchard!

It seems that this area is a favorite dinner stop for this doe and her two youth.

Every evening between 5 PM and 10 PM they make an appearance...

eating apples on the ground and in the tree.

Also seen... an opossum...

a bunny...

a barn kitty....

and lots and lots of dog photos!

As for the camera in our lower field....

 699 amazing photos this week!

Whoa, there!

 Another 'possum...

Hello there Mr. Fox...
are you responsible for eating all of my baby ducks this past summer?

I have examined a lot of angles of this big boy,
and I think he is a 12 point buck!

On this particular evening, it was drizzly...
so he laid down in front of the camera and stayed there for quite a while.

There were about 30 photos of him

as he sat there turning his head.

We either have a lot of foxes, or this same fox runs in front of the camera nightly.

Each and every week, checking the trail cameras is like opening
the best surprise package.
And as I comb through all of the images,
I squeal with delight...
like a child on Christmas morning!
What a great idea this was!
