Pet Food Recall ~ Does the FDA have something to hide?



A grieving cat owner has filed action in federal court to force the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to “perform its duty” and investigate other toxins -- besides melamine -- as the culprit in this year’s massive pet food recall.


Don Earl of Port Townsend, Washington, also wants the court to order the
FDA to stop what he considers “all activities (by the agency) involving the destruction of critical pet food evidence.”

At this point I still cringe whenever I give the kittens and Sockie~Pooh catfood. We still miss Whiskers every day and I am dedicated to making sure that those responsible for his death pay and that this horrible event will never be repeated. Our pets deserve food that is safe to eat. Heck we deserve people food that is safe to eat, but at least with people food they don't dilly-dally around about issuing a recall.
