I know it is suppose to be Scylla Sunday, but she has been spending lots of time under the bed. She is kinda hissed off because I am spending lots of time in Mommy's lap, and they wouldn't let me outside so.................. For those of you who missed it August 1st I went to the vet and they did 3 biopsies. They also stole fur. You can see the place on my leg and neck. They did one lymph node in my back leg, one lymph node in my neck and a salivary gland. Then we had to wait.
While waiting I was offered my favorite foods and indulged. The only bad part from my perspective was the medicine twice a day, but it seemed to help me feel better. And Friday I got the greatest news NO CANCER!
I wants to thank all of you that purred, prayed and sent pawsitive thoughts it really meant a lot to me and my family.
The Dr. that did the biopsy said that he would make the clinical assumption that I was responding to some immune stimulation. We may never know what caused my lymph nodes to go haywire but the medication seemed to work. My lymph nodes were less swollen when Dr. Lisa took my stitches out Friday and she said I could go back outside. I am a very happy and thankful cat. ~Socks, reporting for Alasandra, The Cats & Dogs
