Special Delivery
I think over the years I have done a few posts with this title.
Invariably, the subject of these posts has something to do with the arrival
of some new farm animal.
Hmmmmm....
animal, vegetable or mineral??
Well, this time definitely not animal.
Vegetable, well I guess part,
and part mineral.
It's bigger than a breadbox.
Ok, enough clues.....
Here is what was delivered yesterday...
My much anticipated playhouse.
Here it is being dropped off.
It will get moved into the garden on Friday.
(Then the painting and gussying up begins!)
I planned for this little house last summer,
cleared an area inside the garden fence,
and called my favorite builder.
It is generic right now.
My plan is to gussy it up with some fancy trims
and paint it very bright and cheerful.
Somehow chartreuse and purple appeal to me....
we'll see.
Tyler checked it out...
a little big for him right now...
lots of room to grow.
We sat for a while on the front porch and enjoyed the shade,
while his Mommy brought the "Littles" back to the barn
from the pasture.
And of course no activity is complete without our silly turkeys
visiting.
As for the playhouse....
Tyler gives it two thumbs up!
