Wildflower Wednesday


The Trumpet (aka Coral) Honeysuckle is native to Mississippi. Hummingbirds drink the nectar from it's blooms.



The Gaura is also a wildflower that is native to Mississippi.




This is Japanese Honeysuckle. It is growing wild by the pond. We love the way it smells.

This pink rose is growing wild down by the pond too. We thinks it may be called Seven Sisters. Does anyone know for sure?

 Woof, Woof, glad you could drop by for a visit.  We has lavendar, pink, purplish-pink and white Foxgloves. The Mom just loves them.  We saw a Hummingbird enjoying the Trumpet Honeysuckle. The Mom wasn't fast enough to get a picture....
