The Geese came to visit Mommy while she was weeding the Butterfly Garden.

She took a break to take pictures they were so cute.

The Grancy Graybeard is pretty.

The Gold Flame Honeysuckle.

Million Bells
The stuffs we can't remember what is? It isn't a petunia or a pansy. The one thing Mommy remembers about it, is it is drought resistant. Maybe next time Mommy goes by the nursery she can find out it's name. ~Socks & Scylla reporting for ATCAD

UPDATE: Thanks a million Terri for identifying our flowers as "million bells". Mommy choose them because they prefer dry soil. Her thinking is that she won't have to water the hanging basket so much. They also tolerate our hot weather better then petunia's or pansies. They lady at the nursery said they should look good until our first frost. It's an an evergreen perennial where the winters are mild, so we are anxious to see how it does here. The Superbells Mommy has shown you in our other containers are in the same family.

- Mancat Monday
I just love Spring (at least when it isn't raining). We has lots of purrty flowers blooming. This is the Clematis. Lovely sun puddles to relax on. They warm up the rocks nicely which feels good to these old bones. Grancy Graybeard Whirling Butterflies,...

- Saturday Sharing - More Geese
We thought we would share more pictures of the geese family. These were taken the day they hatched, April 9th.   Our Grancy Greybeard is fixing to bloom. It is really purrty when it does. Socks is going to tell a funny story...

- Tsarina Tuesday
This yellow swamp iris is very pretty. Mommy saw some dark red ones at the Herb and Garden Fest, we are going to try to get some blue swamp iris from Grandpa and to keep an eye out for the dark red ones. Mommy planted some Artemisia in the Charybdis bed....

- Butterfly Garden Update
Youngest son and I saw this lovely tree when we were at the nursery to pick up some plants. It is a Bottlebrush Tree also known as Callistemon rigidus, native to Australia. The price tag was a bit steep for us, so I will try to find it in a smaller size....
