Sassy made this lovely poster of all all the cats and dogs who went on the Grand St. Paddy's Day Adventure. We think she got everybody in the picture, there were so many of us it was hard to keep track. We even lost Scylla a time or two as she would wonder off to explore on her own. We found her in front of a pet shop in Dalkey last time she got lost.
We got up super early and teleported to Bruff to meet some of our distant relatives at the property of the James O'Meara family. Our cousins Pat & Cindy O'Mire (some silly person in the United States misspelled the last name and it's to much of a bother to correct it now) and Bill & Cheri Moore took these pictures for us. The farmer was very nice. He insisted we enjoy some fresh milk before we left and told us next time we were in Ireland we could stop by with our friends.
Not only is March 17th St. Patrick's Day it's Stanley's Gotcha Day. We are very glad Asta talked him into coming along with us for our grand adventure. Stanley is a lot of fun and he is the perfect guy for Asta.

After our side trip to the O'Meara property we enjoyed a scrumptious brunch at Asta & Stanley's cottage. Stanley was very touched by our surprise, I am just surprised we were able to keep it a secret. The girls have been gossiping (uh I mean making plans and organizing) about it so much. Happy Gotcha Day Stanley!!!!

This is a picture of St. Patrick. As you can tell from the family resemblance he is a long ago ancestor of Charlie's.

We meet up with everybody outside the Dublin Temple Bar before the parade. Most sources agree that Dublin's Temple Bar was named after the Temple family, and specifically after Sir William Temple, whose house and gardens were located there in the early seventeenth century.

Doesn't my girl MoMo look sexy in her costume. She promised to wear it for me every St. Patrick's Day. It certainly got my motor running.
(Photo by MoMo) Here are my sisters Scylla & Charybdis. They felt like Irish Royalty riding around in the convertible waving to the crowd (Daisy do you see the Daisy Bouquets they are carrying? They reminded us of you).

We gathered in the Red Room ( I bet you can't guess why they call it that?) at Dublin Castle before the Ball. Karl who is very talented designed our costumes.

Then we went to St Patrick's Hall for the Ball, hosted by the Mayor of Dublin....
While I danced the night away with MoMo, Scylla & Charybdis elected to attend an intimate musical gathering with one of Ireland's most celebrated artists - legendary Irish vocalist Mary Black and her Band. You can listen to the music here.
