Karl knew how very sad we were to leave Ireland so he arranged an early morning dip in the swimming pool for us as a
surprise. It was very peaceful as everyone else was still asleep. Emil is sitting on the side of the pool with Socks and Mrs. Oz is in the pool with us. Poor Mrs. Oz she is responsible for making sure we do not drown. I feel very safe on my float and everyone has stressed that Charybdis and I must keep our claws in or the float things will go flat and we will sink or swim (personally I elect to swim, sinking is no fun). Humans sure do make a lot of defective products. Thank you very much Karl, Emil & Mrs. Oz. We enjoyed our early morning swim very much.

Here we are leaving Ireland, but we aren't going home yet. Today is full of surprises. We are going to surprise Dragonheart & Merlin.

After meeting Dragonheart & Merlin we all went to the Stachus. The Karlsplatz (It is better known as Stachus, supposedly named after the popular innkeeper Eustachius Föderl.) and the Karlstor (Karl's Gate) represent the entrance to the Historic City Centre and, since 1972, to the pedestrian precinct, which makes this the ideal starting point for a shopping spree along Neuhauser and Kaufinger Strasse. Us girls are off to do some serious shopping. Somebody snuck me a beer. I won't say who, but thank you.

Being cats and dogs we were hungry so we looked for a restaurant on the famous Leopoldstrasse. Leopoldstrasse is the main drag through Schwabing. It runs from the Siegestor at the top of Ludwigstrasse, through Münchner Freiheit, and beyond through Milbertshofen to the the Frankfurter Ring. There are lots and lots of bars and cafés along Leopoldstrasse. They have a St. Patrick's Day Parade here too. It is the first Sunday before March 17th.

Then on to Feldherrn Halle before leaving for our next
surprise.

The Taylor Catsssss have invited us to visit Washington D.C. . Sadly Asta, Stanley, Momo-dog and Pinot, & Charlie couldn't accept the invitation as they had to get home but the rest of us Sassy, Karl, Emil, Mrs Oz, Ruis, Opus and Roscoe & MoMo~cat gathered on the White House lawn where Mrs. Beazley welcomed us.

The humans have made such a mess of things The Taylor Catsssss took over the White House. We are sure they can fix the economy, get us out of that mess in Iraq and do something to insure we have safe pet food in no time flat. Honestly humans can not be trusted to run things.

The first thing they did was hang Cheysuli's picture on the wall. I know we promised no more thundering herds of elephants in old buildings, but we were being chased by elephants. We really were we even have the picture to prove it.
Before we split up Sassy gave MoMo this for being our tour guide. MoMo was wonderful about making sure we all knew where we were suppose to be and finding interesting things for us to do.
Once we got home Charybdis and I needed a bit of pampering.

Charybdis hopped up in her favourite chair to tell Mr. Bunny all about our trip after her spa treatment.

I on the other hand found my favourite throw and settled down for a nice long nap with my spa treatment. Cucumbers help your eyes get nice and rested.
As everyone knows there is no place like home.
