It's Beginning To Look....

Due to the fact that yesterday was my day off farm chores
(thanks to Jim filling in for me)
and also due to the fact that I am under the weather right now
(my annual dose of laryngitis)....

I spent no time with my precious four legged friends yesterday...
but instead stayed in the house and decorated for Christmas.
So today I will share with you some of our Christmas decor.

The tree in the living room....

 covered in snowmen ornaments

And homemade felted mittens.

A tiny tree in the guest bedroom...

in shades of silver.

The tree in the family room....

a woodland Christmas theme.

Fresh greens tucked in every corner...

covering the mantle...

Whimsical snowmen in a Christmas village...

And a whimsical Santa sitting in the antique scales on the kitchen counter.

Today I am back out with my critter friends.
Oh, how I miss them when I am not with them!

Pretty soon it will be time to deck them out for Christmas, too!!
What fun!

- Serious Sunday By Socks
We managed to miss Fierce Fighter Day. By the time we found out about it, it was too late for us to participate, so we would like to remember Whiskers today. Whiskers came to live with our family when the boy beans were very little. He was a true Christmas...

- It Really Is....
...beginning to look a whole lot like Christmas around here! I spent much of yesterday decorating for Christmas. At this point I can show you the living room tree... Woodland critters is the theme for the living room. The mantle above the fireplace......

- Thanksgiving Wrap-up....on To Christmas!!
Well, it's December 1st. I suppose you can say we are officially in the Christmas season.Thanksgiving is behind us, now.All that remains are a few various leftovers in the refrigerator, and a heart full of wonderful memories. Tyler running for a touchdown...

- Recycling The Christmas Tree
"O Christmas tree,O Christmas tree,How tasty are thy branches..." I was going to tell you that this is what I heard from the goat pen,but the truth is...all I hear is munching! What's even better than Ritz crackers? Why, a discarded Christmas tree...

- Welcome December!
Yesterday was a day of showers...most of us (critters included) stayed under cover and out of the rain...except for performing the essential chores.Outdoor pictures just didn't happen.I didn't want to risk taking my new camera out in the rain....
