Barn work is never solitary...not since TomTom joined us. Whatever the chore, he is in the middle of things. This is our barn refrigerator...home to horse treats and eggs. I am not sure what TomTom's fascination with it is...perhaps the fact that the refrig is actually warmer than the barn these days!
In the mornings, during stall cleaning, he often climbs our pantlegs in order to get some special attention. Some might label him a pest....but we love him.

Gracie and the girls continue to call the barn home.Having them spend a portion of the day in a stall gives me the opportunity to bondwith the lambs. They are quite fast, now...so catching them outside is impossible. While in the stall, I can pick them...

The other evening my last stop for the afternoon feeding was the barn....to feed the kitties. Most afternoons, when I walk through the barn door, I have to watch my step. There are usually three kitties trying to cozy up to me, wrapping themselves around...

He is in need of a bath and some general grooming....but with the weather as it has been for the last several days (rainy), it will have to wait. Still....he is quite lovely, don't you think? Though a bit on the chubby side, (he really loves to graze)...
