Update on The Whiskers Memorial Butterfly Garden
Whiskers Memorial Butterfly Garden
It's raining today so we haven't been able to do any work in the butterfly garden. We bought another Encore Azalea this one is called Autumn Chiffon. We also got more Camillas and a purple wisteria. I haven't been able to find a white one. We were also able to get some yellow butterfly weed and a butterfly bush (small problem with the butterfly bush we have no idea what color it is. It could be pink, white or purple, so we will have to wait until it blooms to find out). We weren't able to get the pink & white dogwoods we wanted either. Hopefully we will be able to add them next year. And I still haven't been able to find any catmint. I hope they will have it at the Herb and Garden Fest March 24th, I also have to look for some comfrey for my Dad (supposedly Boer Goats like it). So far the azaleas, Camillas, Mexican petunias, Queen Anne's lace and lantana ( I can't believe we found it in blue) we planted are doing well.

Whiskers always assumed that we put the tree up just for him to sit under so I think he would love knowing that his paw imprint is hanging on the tree. I know it will make me feel better knowing it is hanging there. It was a very thoughtful and considerate thing for them to do and I greatly appreciate it. I know the rest of my family does too.
We have learned that more then likely Special Kitty Pouch Cat~food Killed Whiskers.
