We were very sad to read that Lacy Lulu didn't make it, you can read her family's moving tribute Last Picture, Thanks, and Tributes!! on her blog. We are going to plant a Gardenia for her in the Whiskers' Memorial Butterfly Garden. We were just getting to know Lacy Lulu, we wish we had, had time to get to know her better.
Sadly we learned today that Smudge didn't make it. He was a very young kitty that we were becoming friends with. We will plant a Hibiscus in the Whiskers Memorial Garden for him.
We will also plant some Lantana for our friend Pepper who went on to the rainbow bridge awhile back.
The Whiskers' Memorial Butterfly Garden is our tribute to Whiskers, we have found great solace sitting in the garden and enjoying the plants and animals that visit. We hope that our friends will enjoy virtual visits to the garden. It's a great place to hang out if you don't feel good.
Our friend Percy needs your purrs. He had to have a tumor removed and unfortunately the VET didn't get it all, so it will grow back and he has to have another surgery cause the biopsy said it was non-metastasized nerve sheath sarcoma (hiss). So we are purring really hard for him. Hang in there Percy and get well soon. Please drop by Percy's blog and offer him your support.
