Wildlife Wednesday & Happy Birthday Marg

Our friend Marg from Marg's Animals is having a birthday today. We want to wish her a Happy Birthday. She is a good friend who helps all in the cat/dog/donkey/etc blogosphere, we have really enjoyed getting to know her and the wonderful animals she cares for.
We have a nice family of Geese vising us.
The Goslings hatched April 1st.
They are very tiny you can barely sees them.
Their coloring helps them blend into their surroundings.
We also has a Blue Heron visiting our pond, we loves him because he eats snakes. Mommy was finally able to get some decent pictures of him. We will share them next Wednesday. Usually he stays on the back side of the pond and flys off if Mommy gets close enough to take a picture. And he is way to fast for her once he starts moving. Today he was standing as still as a statue. Although he did move from the pine tree to the woods and he did it so fast Mommy never saw him move.
Apparently he is a good neighbor as he moved so the Geese Family could get in the pond.
They don't seem to mind him. Mr. Gander drives other geese that stop by the pond off. But he is OK, with Mommy, Fenris & Tuiren, walking by the pond. Mommy tells him how cute the goslings are and what good parents he and Mrs Goose are and promises not to hurt the goslings.
They often come close to Mommy, especially if she is without her feline and canine escort.
We cats enjoy watching them, but we never tries to approach them. Mr Gander and Fenris sometimes play chase through the fence. Mr Gander, will come up to Fenris' yard and they runs/flies up and down the fence. He doesn't do it as much now that Tuiren lives here.
