Wrapping Presents & Homeschooling

Four days till...........................Lord Epa's birthday! and I have yet to get his presents wrapped. I was going to wrap them last Monday while the guys were at soccer practice, but I got offered a deal I couldn't pass up. IF I would take Lord Epa to soccer practice Hubby would install my new washing machine. It's the Cadillac of washing machines, it even has a hand wash cycle and can handle bulky bedding. Now all those lovely hand wash only sweaters I have can just be thrown in the washing machine, there was always Thursday night to wrap the gifts. But then Hubby came home from work sick, so guess who took Lord Epa to soccer practice? I still have the Monday before his birthday left and I suppose I can lock myself in my bedroom and wrap presents IF worse comes to worse. How I am going to smuggle the presents from their various hiding places to my bedroom with Lord Epa underfoot is a problem yet to be solved. And then there is Christmas. Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least I can wrap Shining Celebi's presents while he is at work, since yesterday was his final day of college exams and if Hubby's Christmas present ever gets here I can wrap it while he is at work. But when oh when am I going to wrap Lord Epa's?

Apparently everyone I know (even those people I only know through the Internet) have been experiencing the crud, in one form or another. It started in our household with Shining Celebi, preceded to Hubby and then just as Hubby had recovered and was leaving...

- When Life Happens Homeschooling Continues On
Lord Epa dislocated his patella at soccer practice Thursday night. We got home from the ER about 1AM. Lord Epa was pumped full of pain killers, had his leg in a brace and was on crutches. Needless to say he slept all day Friday. The ER staff were relived...

- Soccer Mishaps
Lord Epa displaced his patella at soccer practice Thursday. They had to call an ambulance to take him to the ER. I was very impressed with the EM-T's and the hospital staff at Ocean Springs hospital. They did their best to make sure Lord Epa was...
