Some of the birds that visit us are very small like this hummingbird. They are also very fast, Mommy was surprised she got a picture of it in flight, they usually zoom around too fast for her to focus on.
Some of the birds that visit us blend in with their surroundings very well. Do you see the Great Blue Heron. It is on an island in the middle of our pond, Mommy had to use the zoom lens to take it's picture.
This is a white heron, some people call it a Great White Egret. We leave the herons alone they are very large scary birds.

Mommy got a picture of the blue heron that visits our pond. This photograph didn't turn out very well so she played with it some. I kinda like what she did with this one. This is more subdued. The rest of the pictures she took turned out much better....
