Mancat Monday by Socks

A mancat is responsible for taking care of his younger siblings. This is a picture of me cuddling with Scylla when she was sick.

I like to explore. I saw this grass carp in the pond. He is suppose to be eating the vegetation in the pond. He better get busy. There is a lot of vegetation to eat.

I saw this Cardinal in the butterfly garden.

This stray cat was also visiting the butterfly garden. We are friends so I do not chase her off. Sometimes we play together. She is beginning to let Mommy get closer thanks to the good example I set.

This is an American Bittern he lives by the pond.

After all this exploring it's time for a nap.

- Wildlife Wednesday
A lot of our friends have commented on how rude the geese they know are. Ours must have attended a Manners Class as they are very nice. We thoughts we would tell you a little about them. We don't know where they come from but sometime in late January...

- Mancat Monday ~ Socks
JFF, gave us this pawsome award Thank Cat or I wouldn't have a Mancat Monday Post. The Mom has been slacking lately. She seems to think planting flowers is more important then helping us blog!  And if her gardening activities aren't bad...

- Thursday In The Garden
Since it is wet and muddy here we sent Fenris to check on the Whiskers Memorial Butterfly Garden for us. He thinks some rabbits have been visiting our garden. He sat in the butterfly chair. Look what happened to Mommy's teacup. We thinks the ice...

- Photo Hunt ~ Time
Daddy isn't having a good TIME. Daddy just released the grass carp into our pond and he is trying to fix the pipe thing so the grass carp won't get sucked out of the pond. The pipe thing isn't cooperating so Daddy is having a very bad TIME,...

- Where Did All These Toads Come From?
Frogs and toads have always been a part of the farm. Evening walks to the pond are always accompanied by the pond peepers and their high pitched chorus. The addition of large mouth bass in our pond seemed to cut back on the numbers of frogs over the past...
